A 35-YEAR-OLD dog owner has appeared in court after her pet reportedly "mauled another woman".
Deniqua Westwood is accused of being the owner of a dog that was dangerously out of control at Carr Farm, Rochdale, in March 2020.

The dog - an African Boerboel named Walter - is said to have injured another woman.
Westwood is also charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice by impersonating the alleged victim and telling police she did not want to pursue further action, and criminal damage.
The criminal damage charge relates to an incident two days before the alleged dog attack when £500 damage was caused to the windscreen of the alleged victim’s vehicle.
Westwood, of Penrith, Cumbria, appeared at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on Thursday where details of the charges were read to her.

In a tribute, Daniel’s family described him a “happy, kind and caring little boy who was loved by all who knew him”.
In a statement Greater Manchester Police said: "Enquiries have established that the boy was outdoors with a number of dogs prior to being found with serious injuries.
